Limited Warranty Terms
Please read and accept our Limited Warranty policy to continue your claim.
At MechMaxx Inc. ("MechMaxx" or "We"), we strive to make the warranty claim process as easy as possible. Please read the instructions below for a general overview of our warranty policy.
MechMaxx expressly warrants ("Limited Warranty") to the original purchaser that for a period of one (1) year ("Limited Warranty Period") from the date of shipment, the covered product (the "Product") will be reasonably free of material defects and workmanship when properly handled and maintained by the customer. This Limited Warranty only applies to MechMaxx's Products which are used, stored, and handled in the manner recommended by MechMaxx. The Limited Warranty is not transferable.
MechMaxx will, at its discretion, repair the Product, provide a one-time discount on the Product, provide replacement parts, or replace the Product, subject to the exclusions set forth in this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty does not cover wear and tear or maintenance — it is solely your responsibility to replace normally worn products or parts and maintain the Product in good working order.
Limited Warranty Repair Information
In the event We opt to repair the Product, all repairs must be carried out at an authorized MechMaxx service center during the Limited Warranty Period, unless otherwise approved by MechMaxx in writing. If you choose to repair the Product yourself, you will not receive any compensation or assistance from MechMaxx. If you need a part covered by this Limited Warranty, please contact us for assistance (additional fees may apply).
Important: You can call us to inquire about service hours, business hours, business location, and availability of specific repair work before returning any Product that requires repair. We do not accept returns without you contacting us first.
Engine Limited Warranty
The warranty period for our engines starts from the date of shipment. VANGUARD and KOHLER engines come with a 3-year warranty, while all other brands are covered for either 1 or 2 years, depending on the specific model. Please refer to the product page for specific details.
Returns: If We agree to accept a return under warranty, you must obtain return authorization from MechMaxx by phone or email before returning a defective or damaged product.
To expedite the warranty process, submit videos/pictures reflecting the problem and an overall condition description via email to general@mechmaxx.com. Photos and/or videos are required for all warranty claims — a claim cannot be made without an attached photo or video file that proves the issue.
Shipping: Any special freight services are not covered by this Limited Warranty but can be arranged by the customer at their own expense.
Exclusions — Situations Not Covered
- Damage caused by external forces, such as weather.
- Normal wear and tear items — blades, teeth, clutches, PTO shafts, belts, hoses, and similar.
- Non-compliance with the Product's use guide, care guide, or instruction manual.
- Improper storage, handling, or use of the Product.
- Damage not resulting from manufacturing defects while in the customer's possession.
- Unreasonable or unintended use of the Product.
- Minor conditions such as stains, scratches, dents, etc.
- Any modifications or alterations made by the Customer.
MechMaxx reserves the right to reject any warranty claims in its sole discretion.
Ownership
The warranty is only valid for Products purchased through retail at www.mechmaxx.com. All warranties are valid only under proof of purchase. MechMaxx does not provide warranty for products purchased from third parties.
Submit a Product Limited Warranty Claim
When you find that your Product is not working properly, please stop the machine and call our customer support team. Complete the claim form and ensure all necessary photos and videos are attached. Once we receive your claim, our claims department will contact you within two business days with a solution.
Please note that the defective Product must be located in the Continental 48 states of the United States.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES MADE BY MECHMAXX IN CONNECTION WITH THESE PRODUCTS. MECHMAXX DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL MECHMAXX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. NO CLAIM SHALL EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS IN RESPECT TO WHICH DAMAGES ARE CLAIMED.
